The west may have fallen off mainstream wise but there’s still a lot of rappers on the west that shit on the new east coast rappers. Crooked I kills everything he touches. Kurupt still drops fire but it just isn’t as big becasue no one seems to care about good lyrics no more. DJ Quik and Kurupt got a whole album coming out, DPG’s got a new album coming out. LAX was fire. Raw Footage was fire. The only person who needs to give it up is Snoop because he can’t rap for shit no more. Bishop Lamont’s gonna blow when he drops the Reformation and if Detox ever comes out the west will be on top again. The south must have the wackest lyricists of all time. The only rappers who are good are TI, Ludacris, Chamillionaire and some of the older rappers like Scarface, UGK, etc. And from the east Saigon was supposed to blow but he doesn’t have the buzz he had about a year ago. Rap in general is pretty weak right now but you can’t be saying the West is shit becasue so are the south and east. South may have the sales but the rappers they got are wack as fuck.
